What we collect, why we hold it, who receives it and how to have it removed.

What we collect
What you type into a form or into the eligibility estimator: your name, contact details, the site address and what you told us about the project. We also record the submission itself — the page, the date and time, your IP address and browser, and the consent wording shown to you at that moment.
That technical record exists so a later question about your enquiry can be answered with facts instead of assurances.
Why we hold it
To assess eligibility, to prepare and support a funding application, to quote and supply equipment, and to meet our own record-keeping obligations. We do not build profiles and we do not sell lists.
Who receives it
The program administrators, utilities and agencies an application has to be made to — which cannot be avoided, because they decide it — and the suppliers who make the service possible: hosting, email, telephony, shipping and the manufacturers whose equipment is specified. They may use it only to provide that service. We disclose information to a regulator or a court where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records for the life of the project they belong to; application and consent records for at least as long as the program and any applicable limitation period require, because an administrator can audit an award years later; service records for as long as the account is open and the period after it that the law requires. Then they are deleted.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Have it corrected where it is wrong.
- Have it deleted, unless we are required to keep it — an award under audit is the usual exception.
- Tell us to stop contacting you, at any time and without a reason.
- Ask us not to sell or share it — which we do not do in any case.
Write to [email protected] from the address you used, or call us. We answer within 45 days and usually much sooner.
Messages
Text messages are covered in detail in the SMS terms. Reply STOP to any message or use the unsubscribe link in any email; the opt-out applies to every programme we run.
Children
Our forms are for business use and are not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information; if you believe we have, write to us and it will be deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are not applied retroactively to records already collected.
